Today we had an extra session of finishing work. More leather and decorations were added to the exteriors, including a metrocard pocket, red leather diamonds, and lots of fake fur. We also decided to leave one shoe with the electronics exposed. Finally we are ready for the runway, the shoes look great!

Today Wandy and I did some extra work on her shoes, fixing the alarm and making some diamond-shaped holes in the leather for the LEDs. We also did some work on Adrianna’s shoes with red piping.

Today we got in a lot of soldering practice, connecting the LEDs to the circuit boards. We also made single LEDs that will get inserted into the shoes, and talked a little more about what exactly the Decision Maker was going to do.

Today at our fourth session we did many things. First we finished cutting the compartments for the decision maker and smooth things out with the dremel tool. The girls also made LED to put into their shoes and at the same time learned how to solder.
